I like to fangirl. A lot. I'm pretty selective with my fangirling, and mostly the insanity mostly centres around Harry Potter, Narnia and occasionally into Obernewtyn. I love Disney, even if they are an evil corporation sent to devour children's souls through their movies. My favourites are the Princesses, with the top crown going to Belle from Beauty and the Beast, mostly because she is a brunette.

I like my sites; I work at three of them. I have this weird thing where I select a random aspect of a personality and fangirl it. It started with Emma Watson and slowly moved onto Clemence Poesy and most recently, onto Anna Popplewell. This may make me shallow and superficial, but most of these favoured characterisitics are based on aesthetics, rather than acting ability (although two out of three are very good actors).

Grr, been trying to get some coding help lately, but it seems I always have the coding which stumps people. Put up a brand new layout at Evanna Fan and yes, it's gorgeous (me, an egoist? Nuh uh.); however, it refuses to work in IE. I'm not an IE fan or user, so I don't really care, but this is the biggest (and most popular, suck it, tool) Evanna site online and a brunt of my visitors use IE. And of course, to avoid the slew of emails which are coming my way, I need to make this layout compatible with IE. Examples of IE fuckery can be seen here: the magically appearing green bar of doom and the content disappearing to the bottom of the page.

Since I'm going through some very confusing boy trouble at the moment (well, confusing for me), I've decided to distract myself with some Ben Barnes! And thus, a Bin Bons picspam was born! Somewhat dial-up safe?

When I should be making layouts for both Evanna Fan and iheartwatson.net, I sidetrack enough to make a very simple Dramione wallpaper. I've only seen the movie twice, but it has so much potential for D/Hr scenes for videos and icons! Huzzah! I can't wait for the DVD release so I can cap on my sister's enormous screen and just make lots of pretty, pretty things!

Hmm. Not an entirely original idea, but after seeing these posters for the fifteenth time, it finally clicked. Photoshop + posters = manip, no? After prancing around like an idiot at my discovery, I set about actually making it, 'it' that is, a Dramione poster. Inspired by the gorgeousness of lighting's poster.

Well, it seems that this movie will be my muse. Woo! Another Dramione wallpaper (you may remember I was awesome about two weeks ago), this time with less angst and a little more implied fluffy Dramione, which is so canon it hurts. It's still rather dark and black (in actual colours), but it gave me a 'fluffy' vibe, so I hereby dub it 'fluffy'! (And it shall be mine, it shall be my Fluffy!)

Song lyrics from Nickelback's I'd Come For You, probably gonna be the next big 'Far Away' - if you recall, almost every single fandom and ship has at least one version of this song in fanvid, or at least it seems like it. So not a Daddy-Daughter song, well not to me anyway.

And random, but I'm currently working on a Harry/Hermione/Malfoy fanvideo - thought I'd stretch my legs into a completely different part of fandom. I'm on the verge of throwing my laptop out of the window - good sign, no?

Woo, after almost six months of doing nothing, a new trailer pops up and makes everything all pretty again! All the angst in the new trailer made me all inspired and lemme tell you, I cannot wait for this movie - mostly because I want to make lots of scene manips for Dramione (anyone else see HBP as full of D/Hr potential - even if it is manipulated?)! Bring on Emo!Malfoy and Emo!Hermione. While I was making this, I had Anything for You by Evanescence running in the background, a perfectly suitable angst-ridden song for Dramione.

Story of the wallpaper? Basically, something something something, anger, angst and Malfoy crying. Sounds like a swell plot, no?

Since I've been a terrible friend lately, being totally M.I.A in regards to comments and actual participation, I thought it might be easy for you to remember who I am if I posted a few things that may amuse or completely freak you out. This shall be a mini "refresher course" in FLST1001, so to speak.

Seven things about Kaetlyn to add to your random mental trivia.



+ I work better, at home, with no pants on. I do not know why, but sitting in long t-shirts or dresses makes it a lot easier for me to work on pretty much anything; essays, art, general writing, ideas. Believe it or not, I have pants on right now, so possibly not one of my better ideas?

+ I have a fear of failure and a fear disappointing people. I dunno if it's some sort of adverse reaction from my childhood or something happened when I was little, but I absolutely hate the idea of people being disappointed in me. It just feels ... icky.

+ I have a habit of running into things, causing unprecedented amounts of embrassment, but (I'm told) heaps of laughter for those outside of the running-into-things habit. I have a variety of bruises on my knees and hands from where they have been slammed against doors, walls, bookcases - you name it. A week cannot go past without me running into some sort of physical object, whether it be a wall, a glass door, a tree or a parent. Does this make me a real-life Bella Sue Swan? D:

+ I love the word "lizards", for no apparent reason. I hate lizards, but the word is fun. Lizards.

+ My Potter OTP has always been, and forever will be, Draco/Hermione. No amount of canon can convince me otherwise.

+ I don't know why (and I should probably look into this), but when I discover an actor or actress I like (usually an actress), I pick one feature and fangirl over it obssessively before starting a fan site for them. It's getting quite annoying really, as I become something I said I'd never do - own more than two fan sites at one. Newest on my list: Kimberley Nixon, mostly because she's so adorable and flexible!

+ My best feature is my nose. It's cute and kinda upturned, but it's a perfect mix of my mum and dad's nose and it bugs the hell out of my sister. I'm convinced she's the prettier sister, but she's convinced I am, all on the basis of my nose. My eyes are pretty impressive, especially with eyeliner (but really, if it's done right, who's isn't? :D)

+ I have a sippy cup with a hippo on it, which I still use occasionally. I know you're jealous. :D

It only took me two hours but huzzah I finally made something! Am I the only one who's incredibly exicted for this movie, even if it is my least favourite book? Just think - all those scenes that can be manipped and altered to make dramione stuff! Yay! I'm really hooked onto 90s pop at the moment and it's kinda freaking me out.

Many of you may be wondering why I have Robert Pattinson is my layout at the moment with a Twilight related quote, even though we all know Twilight is "lol"-worthy.

There is one true fact.

I love Stoner Pattz (mostly because of his hair) but also because I see him as being the weirdest person on this planet - yes, that is above Russel Brand, Madonna and Michael Jackson. My admiration for Pattz was further heightened today after reading this interview, and jeez, if you don't love him and his hair yet, you will!

So basically Kristin was one of the main reasons you wanted to do it?
Yeah, pretty much. Especially after the audition. I had no idea how to play it. I went in literally thinking I was just going to stand there and pose. I just thought like the most important thing about this character, the way I saw it at the beginning, was like just the way he looks all the time, so I was just thinking that, "Well, I'll just try and look as pretty as I can." That was my only idea when I was going in. And then after the audition my mind changed about everything.

What's your favourite dinosaur?
Probably a diplodocus. I can really relate to a diplodocus.

As many of you now know, for some reason (probably because this site is so very pretty) I've grown a little attachment to Kristen Stewart, particularly as I've nicknamed (and I'm sure others have) her "Bitchface". Before anyone comes to my house to lynch me for this atrocity, please note that I say "Bitchface" with the highest of admiration - sounds odd.
